clk exhaust manifold

hello all im new to this club... my situ is this... i have a clk 230 2001 model. In 2007 i had my exhaust manifold changed by mercedes which cost inxs £800.It lasted less than 2 yrs (just less) and went again along weld in the center of the manifold. Fortunately the warranty was 2 yrs and i was covered they changed it for new without any real issues. But now almost 3 yrs on (sept 15) and this one has gone as well in the same place along the weld in the center of the manifold. This cannot be right when the original exhaust is still on the car yet 3 exhaust manifolds have gone in 5 yrs. Any advice plz im in the process at the of moment of dealing with the issue with mercedes.How do i fair in getting a replacement from them ???

just spoke to merc garage they not interessted cos the warranty is out

Anyone with experience able to advise here? Not something I've dealt with.

Cant you just have the crack welded? We do that sort of thing daily here.

cheers paul thanks for A response...carat well to be honest by the look of it thats my option really dissapointed with merc to wash thier hands of it... colin merc cardiff no joy from him...... £800 ponud part... im gutted
