Hello all - Can any members explain the following conundrum and possible offer advise.:dk:
I purchased an 09 CLK 220 Cdi from MB Stockport in late May this year, under the approved used programme.I went to great pains to ensure that the electronic service sheet was as up to date as possible - indeed, the car was serviced at 16600 miles/Feb 2011 and I purchased the car at 17700 miles in May 2011. - so I was looking forward to 12 months + service free motoring - especially as I am a careful driver, always in 'c' mode and regular 12 mile commute driving/no city driving ! - so I was shocked  when a message flashed up 'A' service required in 30 days - and only 22400 miles - so I have only just done an additional 6000 miles - any suggestions ????
- also I think I want to run this by MB Stockport and see what they say,as it should not flag up after only 6000 miles ???
All comments gratefully received.

Service due at 12 months I think which you will be approaching in 30 days ?

Makes sense ! - thanks - apart from advisables - am I right in thinking 'A' service is essentially oil change service ?

Are you sure it was February 2011, and not 8th January 2011?

The most you have lost is a month or so.

You are nearly right Alex - It was on 02/02/2011 - thanks for your help.

The service indicator on the dash must have been reset on 8/1/2011 though, otherwise you would not be seeing the 30 day display...
