hi all

I have a CLK 320 that is having a problem when starting. The engine will not start but is trying to - the battery is not flat - and sometimes the engines feels like it is going to grab but ten doesn'r. Anyone any ideas - or need any more info?

Thnks

When was it last serviced and what mileage is it?

It could be many things, but plugs and fuel problems are the most likely.

Just been thinking about this and as Brian says a little more info may just help us help you.

My bet says crank or cam angle sensor. You need to have the codes read.

Crank sensor would be my bet - especially if after 10mins and over 90mins it will start, but won't after 30-60, happened to me - nightmare! - £150ish at an indy
