CLS Observations

Holy shyate!!!

Looks like the passenger compartment stood up well, also glad to not see much blood staining on the leather.

The thought of an upgrade has just started to tickle a lobe and it would have to be a C63 and I will consider this at year end if we have a good xmas down the pit
That speaks volumes and I continually read about folks that are waiting for the price to drop so that they can afford one, or they might consider buying onje.... We do have owners of this model that love their trusty steed and enjoy its looks... respect to them. I have no idea how popular it is because in the area I live there is just one... and that is the AMG model. The E-class is popular and there are a couple of CL. If I did want a luxury coupe then it would be the CL, but I don't and I would never buy one.:D

I still do not have a clue what the CLS is? Is it a cut down CL and if so where arethe luxury features that go with the CL and why the CL abbreviation with an 'S' bunged on the end. Is it an E-class coupe and if so, why four doors and why not call it an ELS?

Simple; it is Merc's equivalent of the old Jag XJ - long, low, stylish. Being an XJ fan I think the CLS is spot on

Waiting for someone to comment about the airbags.........:p

Looks like it stared just ahead of the nearside ( UK ) rear wheel. Suchthat the airbags in front would not have been set off. Maybe a lorry climbed over it!!

I think the XJ is a very meaty looking 4 door saloon, but imagine a four door XJS :o

What about this, looks like something big tried to eat it!

didnt you hear?

this was the merc that was supposed to be used in the news transformers movie at the scene with the school, but the transformer got to it before they could film so they opted the vauxhall instead..
