CLS55 lower grill

Bit of a random question but is the lower front grill, the metal mesh one, meant to be gloss or matte black?

Thanks mate, mine's just been replaced and looks odd in the black bumper and next to the fake mesh foglight surrounds. Thought the original was matte or at least satin but that was probably just the effect of 10 years of road crud being thrown at it!

My one is Matt black

they will be gloss mate, but go matt color as they age

Yep, start out gloss and get weathered quickly

Option of re-spraying them.

I used a can on Halfords Satin black on mine and all the lower mesh grills look like brand new and match.
