erm , i already had got diferent plates made up before someone mentioned doing them in that design.

I dunno if they were really worth £35 but i didnt say how much they cost and he was happy with them

I got a reply from the guy, and his response is as follows:

For a large etched sticker, 275mm x 30 mm, saying "MBCLUB.CO.UK" would be

£2.75 each, for a total order over 25
and £3.50 each for orders below 25.

Obviously we could add a logo to that, etc, etc, but at least it gives us an idea of cost.

Does anyone of the Admins wish to take this one over, as an official MB Club offering?

I'm not an official Club representative, and therefore am not in a position to offer this. I'd be more than delighted to manage this and get it done (with everyones support and using text/graphics which everyone agrees).

Or if everyone thinks it's crap, please say so and I'll get one done for myself (which I'm quite happy to do and will do).

We are "run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts" so if you are happy to manage this, then go for it.

Previous attempts have failed due to a lack of management AND lack of designs. I suggest some designs are posted, a vote then if somebody wants to pay up front to get these made, do it.

The design is important, as some people will have a larger sticker than others, some will have it only on a window etc etc.

Perhaps Shude (resident site graphic designer) can comment as a sticker and site logo tie in would be good for a consistent identity.

So, first things first .... MB Club branding.

We seem to be lacking an official MB Club logo and we need to establish a clear identity. I know that some work was done on this previously. Do we still have those examples?

We need to keep to the KISS principle (no Pammy - don't get excited - not that kinda kiss) - Keep It Small and Simple - needs to be easily re-producable on various items or all shapes and sizes (reg plates, tax disk holders, badges, banners, web, print, etc, etc).

And we need some copy for it too.

So, do we have something like: "[logo] MBCLUB.CO.UK"

or text only?

Well you did volunteer. Decide on the questions then run a seperate thread with voting as necessary mate.
