Clumber 2005

We've just got back after another fab gtg. Nice to see familiar faces and some new ones too ;) and another SLK to keep Edna company. I know lots of pic's were taken so looking forward to seeing those up here soon.

A big thanks to all those that came, to Jason for topping up my Gin supplies :D To Steve and Solly for bringing the two canines - what a giggle they are, for Paul R for showing off his beautiful first generation SLK - she is a treasure and to Graeme for letting me play with the E55  boy oh boy, I think Andy got a photo of my grin - he needed a very wide angled lense ;) To Patrick, too for joining the overnight brigade!(Sorry didn't see you to say goodbuye this morning - love to the family) Must remember - don't do overnight in Worksop - it's shut :D

All in all it was another very successful event - Edna's bonnet was up just for a change and the latest mod is on - one of G's petrol devices - I will post my findings in due course - but I'm sold at the mo.

Here's to the next time chaps  :bannana:

btw - almost forgot to mention - it was the usual Pammy baiting session too -so thanks for that as well fella's  :D

As if we would :D

Had a great day out, the Mrs enjoyed herself and now wants to join the dull chome brigade, oh how I hate you lotfor tarnishing her  Roll on to the next one :D

Yes good time had by all.

Had a dust-up with a Passatt TDI on the way back. The boy racer driver, showing off to his mates but he chickened out when into three figures though, had to slow down so he could catch me up. :D :D

Well my camera was on the dining room table... :o but lots of pictures were taken by people more thoughtful than me. I'm sure they'll turn up sooner or later.

Marvellous day out it was too and as well as the round up of the usual suspects it was good to meet 2 or 3 new people and see a few cars I hadn't seen before.

Oh and a big thank you to Graeme for a drive of the E55. It was eye watering, especially to someone who is only used to 4 cylinders where things dont usually happen that fast.

Roll on next time

Sorry I couldn't make it, woke up with stinking hangover and a cold to boot, so not wanting spread my germs I stayed at home.

Hope you all had a great time.

Craig

I have e-mailed mine to Brian_WH. Pammy paying for drinks was such a shock.

And I hear that the pub has now been shut down by health and safety officers due to moth infestation

  didn't hear you two saying no though   you are so so cruel :p but at least my money didn't throw them into a frenzy unlike Jasons funny money from north of the border :p

Pammy, thanks for arranging another enjoyable gtg . Nice to meet some new faces as well as those we've met a few times before. As ever, Soly had a great day as well. Sam & Bruno say thanks for tastey morsels from the bbq.

See you all again soon.

PS, grav, I'm not 100% sure about your magic magnets , but I am sure pammy & paul will post their findings in due course.
