I have a white W124 estate and i need the front bumper painting, just trying to find the paint code for the two tone part of my car, anyone know what it would be or where i would find it. The car is the same colour as this one.

I need to touch up a lower plastic Sacco panel on my W201. Main body colour is 744 Brilliant Silver. Phoned the dealer to get the paint code for the Sacco panel and was given 7738 Sato grey. Got this paint mixed by my local trade paint supplier, who I've used on numerous occasions and their paint mix is usually very good. Tried a colour match on an offcut piece of plastic before spraying, just to be on the safe side and the paint is much lighter than it should be. I know it will need lacquer afterwards, but seems pointless spraying the sacco panel only to find it's completely the wrong colour.
Can anyone suggest what the correct colour might be, please? My nearest M-B dealership is a two hour round trip.

Think your lower colour will be Atlas grey [matt] metallic clearcoat 181
SATO GREY 738 is the trim colour for ARTIC WHITE 147

Thanks for the prompt reply, Grober. Car was first registered in April 1992.
Phoned the dealership back, this time I spoke to someone who knew what he was talking about - as opposed to the dozy sod I spoke to this morning.......and was duly informed the colour should be (as per your suggestion and the attached website colour chart).....Atlas Grey # 7181.
Back to the paint place now for some more paint!
