comand 2006 dx disk backup

i want to create a backup copy of my tele atlas 2006 dx disk so i dont scratch the original. does anybody know of any software that will perform this task?.........

The teleatlas disks have copy protection to prevent piracy. However, I suppose quite a few owners would like to make a backup of their 2006 DX cd (to prevent scratching the original, etc).

I don't have any specifics about the process of doing the backup (as I personally have not done one), but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use a program like clone cd, alcohol 120% or similar. You would probably also have to make sure you use a good quality brand of cdr that the comand unit can easily read.
