Hi guys,

Picked up my E class the other day, mega happy with it, only a few niggles and things to sort.

A couple of questions, is it possible to get digital tv onto the headunit?

Also, the car has pre-wiring and a holder for what looks like a nokia 6310. Can these be changed, or replaced for a bluetooth module or anything?

Thanks

Jon

Does it have the analog tv installed already?

The phone is simple get a viseeo mb1000 Or 3000, I have the 3000 and it plugs in where the phone slots in, looks the same as the phone shape wise and makes its Bluetooth.

Hi, I have the following buttons on the left of the headunit
Audio
Video
Nav
Map
Tel
Serv

Not sure if that means I havent got analog?

I'll look into the viseeo, thanks :)

Jon

If the prewiring is the same as on my S204 C220, the "Nokia" cradle unclips, leaving a base unit for a replacement cradle to clip onto. Be worth a call to Comandonline (unless Alfie answers on here!) about removal and installation, I think you can also buy the viseeo from them.

does the phone cradle have a curly wire? if so the 3000 will work fine :) shop around, i got mine brand new for 100 and retail is 139 on them i think.

when you press video does it come up allowing you to select tv? if it doesn't i think its a harder job, but as above speak to command online they are very good at helping!

Yeah the cradle has the curly wire. I'll have a look around, haven't come across them that cheap yet though?

I'm not actually sure bout the video button, haven't pressed it yet lol, hopefully the rain will stop soon and I can go up to the garage and see.

Thanks for the help guys

Great, thanks :-)

So I checked, and when I press the video button the only option I get it DVD, so I'm assuming it's going to be difficult to get TV in there?

Jon

i would speak to command online, tbh unless you REALLY must have the tv i wouldn't bother lol! you can stick a dvd in it and watch that instead, what i have read the digital tv only works well when sat still and moving can screw with the signal...

Great, thanks :-)

Yes. It will be costly as your comand unit almost certainly wont have the necessary connections on the rear of it.

Hmmm. Ok, perhaps I'll have a rethink, realistically I'm not going to use it a lot unless I'm parked up somewhere etc.

Thanks for the help guys!
