Coming Soon E350CDI Coupe

Well the time has finally arrived my car has arrived in the UK. Unfortunately for me i am on holiday from Saturday so cannot pick it up for a while . the spec i have gone for is E350CDI coupe sport in calcite white,DAB Radio, 6 disc audio 20 with UMI, and telephone prewire i have got the cradle for my iphone and the umi to iphone cradle cable (courtesy of comand online thanks).
I am really looking forward to this car my first ever Merc after having originally ordered an E250CDi i was forced to change my mind and go for the 350 (high finance rates and the injector problem made it a no brainer).

Is DAB radio standard or an option? Have heard not great things about car based DAB!! Anyone got it?

I have DAB (an option at about £250 IIRC) in my E350 and must say it's not all I hoped it would be.

When FM gets a poor signal you can still listen to it, but when DAB cannot see an absolutely perfect signal it cuts out for a second, which gets annoying.

I'm in exactly the same position. Ordered the E250 and switched to the E350. Mine was delivered to the dealer on Friday but I can't get there till Tuesday AM. (E350 Sport Coupe, Palladium silver with tel prewire). And it's my first Merc. Only ever had Fords for the last 31 yrs!
