Command not showing phone contacts now....

After more than 5 yrs of using various Iphones with command in my 2012 W212, it has decided to not display any contacts. my phone has not changed in 2 yrs.
I have disconnected / reconnected the phone but still no contacts. The sync contacts is enabled on my phone.

I have noticed a memory full message a few weeks before this occurred.
Any ideas how to fix this - I recall there was a soft reset of command using a few buttons but cannot remember - will this fix it?

Interestingly enough my 2016 C200 now will not allow me to skip/change tracks using Apple Music as it always used to

Hi,
This is relevant to a 211, whether it is relevant to a 212, it is up to you.
Some ( long ) time ago I had a problem with the phone syncing using a Viseeo to the Comand. On the Estate behind the back seats there is an oblong panel and underneath this are various modules, one of them being ( I think ) a Nokia module for the phone. I disconnected the module briefly, connected it back up, and the phone once again connected to the Comand and all functions restored.
I am sure I documented this on here, but as I said, it was a long time ago.. I am unable to help with the location of any phone module on the 212. I hope this might help.
