Interesting - what are you trying to do? I think theres a hidden connector under a shiny label on the back - but may be confusing it with a different head-unit

Look at the picture of the back of the COMAND unit in this eBay item: Mercedes W166 ML X166 GL satnav navigation Comand NTG 4,5 online HDD A1669006505 | eBay
You will see just above the quadlock a little white flat connector
That little connector is normally covered by the shiny label that someone has peeled off and stuck above it
I assume that is the diagnostic port as it is not used on any car.
Yes, that connector. I guess next time I take one apart I will look at the board for any clues. I assume that's what they use to put the boot loader and the Serial number / anti-theft code etc in there when brand new.
Maybe is conector for connect eCOM or other diagnosis tool... I check in google but i cant find information for that port... If we can find the diagnosis tool, we can find the conexions for debugging the unit.
Its too old for DOIP. Designed well before 2010 as it came out in 2011 (MY2012). It will be some tool the factory uses to program the unit, nothing any MB dealer would ever ever see.
What are you trying to do ? Put different software on it ??
