HIYA!!!! Can anyone tell me why my 2001 C180 Coupe keeps stalling whenever i reverse. I bought the car second hand and was told that the car needed lots of revs to prevent this happening, however the problem still persists.
Another problem I've got is that I have to open the car with one set of keys and close it with another. There seems to be a recurring trend here, electrics!! I was told before I bought the car that MB cars, especially the older ones were renowned form their reliability defects. Surely, when you buy a MB you feel like part of a prestigious club to be proud of, not in this case.
I used to be a LEXUS owner and experienced many happy months assistance from their team (Wolverhampton), however I wished that the same could be said of MB dealerships I have consulted over this problem. Call me cheap, but the only help thay have offered me is to book the car in and they will look at for me (£45.00) of my finest English pounds, I might add, for the privelege. Is there anyone out there that might be able to help me steer clear of a potentially expensive bill that MB have awaiting me.
