If you binned the wheels, the shiny arch extensions, got a new grille, new mirrors, binned the headlight 'eyebrows' ( i had a mk1 golf cabrio with a headlamp spoiler
) , bought and painted the rest of the bodykit to go with the front valance, binned the chrome door handle surrounds and put the windows back to normal tints you might end up with a half decent car for not much money....
