Coupe/Cabriolet CLk tow bar the same?

Hi all

Looking to get a tow bar, purely for a tiny garden trailer.

Mine is a 2003 A209/W209, cabriolet and have been offered a W209 Cuope tow bar for free, but is it the same as a cabriolet tow bar?

As the Westfalia website specifically states that their kit is not for AMG and convertible models, I suspect it's not the approved and therefor cannot tow legally in the UK.

Look for the chassis plate which includes permissable weights. If you're not sure then take a photo of it and post it here in this thread.

Assuming the weights are on your chassis plate - many people seem to sell them for the A209

Coupe and cab are different on the rear underside. Simple things like exhaust and rear bumper are not transferrable so I would also assume the towbar is not.
