I'm not sure a 500 head would fit, something I remember about the internal cooling channels not lining up.

I'm waiting for the report on my engine to determine what to do next.
I've sent your friend Nick a PM keeping him posted.

Do you know what happened to his engine? He hasn't replied to my second mesage yet.

I'm thinking of buying his gearbox too. I'm just weighing up the benifits to my 430 'box as the 1st three gears are of a slightly shorter ratio and 4th and 5th are the same.

Hey Guys,

I've had some interesting news today.

It seems the garage over-reacted to the oil on the rear plugs after I told them what I did when my car over heated.

They wanted to know why the car over heated in the 1st place. They suspected the fan and it turns out they were right.

One new viscous coupler installed and the car left running for 40mins with no over heating problems!

As I said before the oil and water have not mixed so they are now thinking that the oil leak is just gaskets!

I will know more on Saturday, but it seems I've had a very lucky escape!
