creeky seats

does anybody else have seats that creek ?
i have noticed that this is starting to get gradually worse, the car is C200 SPORT, is there some kind of lubrication that im to do, i think the noise seems to come from the height adjustment area, any help would be greatfully accepted

Moving from Bodywork to Interior Section.

My seats don't creak, by the way. Other bits .... yes - seats ; no.

Ive had the plastic around the base of the seats creaking before (plastic against plastic) but never the actual seat.

I had the same problem a short while ago, the drivers seat base just started creaking for no reason especially when turning left. The cure? i just adjusted the base slightly with the handwheel on the right hand side of the seat and the creak disappeared, so far never to return. Hope this helps.

I had same creak on my W124 seat, also just adjusted seat slightly and creaking seat creaked no more! Cheers

:D Hi Sym,
Supposing it was bolts attached to the bodywork that were actullay squeaking and not the seats???? ;)
Would the nuts and bolts be bodywork and the seat, be interior?
Should they be seperate issues?
Is the world really round?
Ooops sorry, getting carried away with my sillyness

Regards
A very awkward

This can be due to the height adjuster being set at maximum / minimum height. I've since had this creak, and by raising / lowering it just a tiny bit, it cures the problem.

Had it on mine, WD40 the 'hinge' round the back of the seat there the bit you sit on meets the back of the seat. Not creaked since
