Hello! It's posible to put a cruise control on a W202 from 1997? The car as a manual gear box...

I've tried this and am still unsuccessful :(

I've got the stalk in, and i've got the STAR programming done, but there doesnt seem to be anywhere for the CC stalk to plug into under the steering column!

You have to wait Graham, he've done the work on his previous C230k (manual), ...oh yes he is driving actually an Audi

Another thing: how do I now if the car as all the pre-instalation on it? My idea was to plug and play...

Your car wont have the data, but that can be easily uploaded by someone who has STAR.

You'll have to cut a piece out of the steering column cover, fit the cruise control stalk and then you'll have a wire that needs plugging .... erm.... well, that's as far as i've managed to get! :D

Hi,
I have done a bit of research on this and i believe it is only plug and play if you have ESP. Cars that have cruise without ESP, is what they call Tempomat (I think) and involves installation of various looms and control boxes.
Though DIYable price of the parts may make it prohibitive.
