Which one does everyone have?

Just been out to start my CLK and battery is dead as I haven’t driven it in so long :D

Abs

I have a MXS 5.0 and a MXS10. The MXS 10 charges twice a fast as the 5.0 for obvious reasons.

MXS 7 which is overkill but was a very good price.

2 MXS 3.6 chargers, bought about 6 years ago and still appear to be working without any issues.

Battery from 2003 replaced today, £150 RAC Varta installed.

Ctek mxs 5.0. Used regularly with no problems on different types/ages of 12 volt batteries for the past 3 years.

Another MXS 5.0. Just works. No hassles

Yes , keeps the previous selected charging mode upon power interruption .

I bought an even cheaper Lidl , Ultimate Speed , at first , good value but it does not resume so returned it .

I have three of these Ultimate Speed chargers - they do the job , and if there's a power cut its easy enough to go out and reset it - you generally know if the power has been out - clocks in the house flashing , that sort of thing .

I still have an even older charger , Gunson or suchlike , which is manual , but has a float setting ; then there is the big Crypton charger which does 6 , 12 or 24V with something like 500A capacity and could be used to jump start a lorry ( which is what my dad bought it for when he had his haulage business ) mind you its the size of a small filing cabinet and on wheels as you couldn't pick it up .

Probably get flamed for this but my Accumate charger packed up earlier this year so I bought a £25 Halfords trickle charger suitable for up to 70 amp batteries and both 6 and 12 volt car and bike batteries and it sits on my SL doing a wonderful job of keeping the battery topped up.

My view was it is a bit of a gamble but why pay £60 plus when you can get one for £25.

The two older Ultimate Speed ones ( Aldi/Lidl ) were about a tenner each , the third one I bought recently ( seem to have misplaced one ) was about £13

So I could have saved even more money
