Car
Gixxer 6, Citroen Berlingo, 911 C4S, Dacia Duster and lots of bicycles.
One of our guests has given me a car magazine with a section of used cars. Check out some of the prices.

2010 E63 221,036 pounds
2010 G500 178,932 pounds
2009 SL63 189,458 pounds
2008 S63 157,880 pounds

The Danish market is obviously different to ours as they can buy a C300 diesel 4matic. Yours for 86,111 pounds.

:eek::eek:

Yes Denmark is insane and well known for it's high car prices (result of high taxation). I had some work colleagues that would live over the border in Sweden but work in Denmark so that they could enjoy nicer cars (and lower taxes!).

Singapore is also an expensive place for cars.

Bizarrely it's also an extremely good place to buy new cars for export. Their new car registration tax is so punitive (circa 120% or something silly) that the actual list price of these cars (pre tax) are the cheapest in Europe.

It's not unusual for Germans to travel to Denmark for a New Mercedes.

AFAIK that used to be the case but not anymore. Export of new cars is no longer duty free.

There are restricted number of driving licenses in Singapore and even getting a license is expensive!
