Hi Guys

I'm a new member so please go easy..
Just bought an early 2011 E class 350CDI convertible with the Hockey stick shaped daytime running lights.
Just wondering if the new straight ones can be swopped over as much prefer those.

Can anyone advise how to fit these lights, i've bought the parts required.

Dropped the bottom enggine cover, but i'm struggling to work out how the old lights come out?

Working on the floor is no fun at all

Hi, I recently had to replace a cracked drl on my 2012 E class. I got access by removing the front wheel and then taking out the front half of the inner wheel liner.
I would imagine it to be very difficult to access from below.

Good luck,

Harvey

Hi

Many thanks for the reply, i'm gonna give that a go, the problem i had yesterday was i just couldn't work out whether the DRL cover / plastic housing that the DRL sits in is behind another plastic cover, it looks really odd.
My problem is i have to remove the whole thing, not just the DRL.
Thanks again though.

Had another go today & now have the later horizontal DRL fitted, they make the car look so much better, a bit of a ball ache working on the floor, but well worth the effort..

Welcome Braddie, don't forget the photos of the car :thumb:.
