Dead horn on E300TD '99

My 2-tone horn has died, slowly. One tone after another.

I can see a horn behind the bonnet grille with two conectors and two cables leading off. Is it a single unit, or as I've read in other messages two units tucked away in different locations?

Is it a generic Merc horn for most classes/models?

These are the only two. One high and one low.

Any MB horn should fit from the same era.

They fill with water BTW

The high tone horn under the front offside wing had failed and the low tone horn wiring loom was at fault.

Just made a flying lead to get power to the low tone.

Sorted for the MOT!
