Detailing and Star Guard

I have been reading a bit on here about claying and how it can help with a deeper shine to the polished surface.

My question is, if my car has been treated with Star Guard, what effect will claying have on my paintwork finish?

The colour of my car is Trabertein Beige.

essentially it will wipe off the star guard.

clay -> cut(if needed) ->WAX
