Difference in seat height between W245 and W246 (B-Class)

Hi all,
Not sure if anyone can answer the following definitively....
My wife currently drives a 2007 B Class and wants to change cars.
She would like to stick to a B Class and maybe get a 2012 or 2013 used. Problem is she was told by a friend that the seats on the newer model are much lower than the old Pre-2012 shape. And even the specs state the the W246 is about 6cm shorter than the W245.
But my research on the actual difference in seat height is unclear. Can anyone definitely confirm the actual difference in seat height - relative to the road - between the old and new?
As you may have guessed - the raised seating position is important to her.
I did take her to check out a couple of actual B-Class but the first we tried was a Sport trim - which I believe is slightly lowered. The 2nd was a 2015 model - which again I understand had lower seats (than 2012/2013 versions) as part of a facelift?

She did try a Renault Captur and Ford Ecosport - like the raised seating - but not impressed by the interior quality.

Have you looked at a C Max. My wife has one and the seat height is higher than the B Class, as is the car. Finish is very good on the titanium spec but I cant comment on others. she had a previous CMax but didn't find the newer B Class high enough as she likes an upright position for driving.

The way the various measurements are given, on the two diagrams I have here, you'd have to estimate the exact difference, however these should give you a better idea, hopefully:

seen as other suggestions have been put forward, and not related to what I drive, as I used to run Mercedes for the last 3 years.
What about a 2 series active tourer? Same type of concept as the B class and plenty of them about. Higher seating position etc. Not sure how it compares to the B, but might be worth a shout.
