EPC is only a rough guide in some cases but I do know that I placed an order for the ML COMAND the day it came out on the orderable list. Before that it was ether.

Supply is irregular these days. One door handle took 9 weeks to arrive. I have no idea how long it will take for the [863] tuner cables to arrive but I certainly want them in all the chassis variants from 203 up to 211

I know what you mean about erratic supply. The problem is not really on the MB side but on the suppliers that the parts are coming from. One particular part springs to mind where we had a adapter plug on back order for about 9 weeks with the suppliers. Unfortuntely sometime I have discovered that the downsides to outsourcing things is supply problems. Still though they seem to be getting stricter all the time.

I will have a look for you regarding the availability of the tuner cables for the various models. I would imagine that some will be on backorder, but the cable suppliers have been quite good of late so I would not imagine anything like 9 weeks.

Will those work in a W220 S? If not, is there anything at the moment that will?

I made a mistake in the first post. Nothing in the Siemens range at the moment. The next facelift model of the W211 will have a siemens head unit and that means it will be available then.
