Have convinced my sister to get a W203 facelift C class (C200K) when they return to London from NYC after a 4 year secondment there.

They arrive 9 April and want a car then.

Do we buy a car taking advantage of the deals now (they expire on 31 Mar and must be registered by then; about 15% on drivethedeal which applies to "stock" vehicles)? Or do we wait until April and see what's out there then re:demo's and pre-registered cars?

Trouble is they are quite fussy about spec: in addition to leather, they want sunroof, parktronic and also integrated child seats at the rear.

Thoughts, suggestions and advice welcomed!

the supports not the best at the moment and as for pre reg cars I cant see there being vary many out there in april. Personally i believe now is the time to move. lots of people pre reg'd cars before new year for the massive discount and they're still sat around waiting to be sold, for example we still have two remaining, a C and an E class. The C class is a C200 CDi Avantgarde SE auto, obsidian black with black interior, standard car, about £18.5k as an idea the P11d on this car is £25.6K so thats a hell of a saving but these discounts were only around due to the euro III/IV changeover which if its for personal use not business it won't matter.

The current C class support is standard dealer discount + a free upgrade to the next model. ie. pay for a classic get an avantgarde/elegance, pay for an avantgarde/elegance get a sport edition. The total savings aren't really comparible, about 2.5K-3.0K

The ex demo is a possibility but I personally avoid them like the plague they tend to have been hammered unfortunately, I wouldnt hold your breath on the pre reg motors though, sorry :(
