Dimming mirror problem, 6 pin white and 8 pin blue

Small problem with the dimming mirror inside W203 sedan. One mirror is 6 pin white connector, one mirror is 8 pin black + blue connection.

I can read clearly the pin diagram of the 8 pin black + blue variety and I can understand this. What I cant find is the pin diagram of the 6 pin version and I would like to know this.

Can 8 pin mirror have pins transferred to 6 pin connector (5 wires).

All of the mirrors have
- grey + blue
- brown
- rose + red

The mirror with LED underneath (8 pin blue) also has
- rose + black
- rose + green

So far I made pin changes according to the same colour wires and now I am wondering what to do with 2 extra wires and where inside the 6 pin shell they are inserted.

Would anyone with a dimming mirror for sale like to rattle off the pinout for the white connector ?

I already posted the 8 pin wiring diagram with colours and the 6 pin eludes me. I have the pin order but not the pin colours for the said diagram.

Noted that both mirrors have 5 wires as I found that two were chopped and tucked back on the old 6 pin mirror setup .... hence the lack of certainty on those two wires.

Just any 6 pin white connector setup will do. They are all the same.

Why is it that Murphys law strikes the intent. Several mirrors were floating around not long ago for sale. Now its nigh improbable that anyone reading here has one on their desk to read back to me the wiring.

if you look at this one - the first 6 are for the mirror itself - the last two are only for the outside mirror - surely you just ignore the outside mirror ones?

the one i have is an oval black connector - with 7 pins connected (but its a 220 part number)

WHAT I HAVE

I have POSTED the 8 pin diagram and all of those pins and colours are shown. As per original diagram above.

I have the 6 pin diagram and the COLOURS are NOT shown making the pin numbers useless.


WHAT I NEED ......
----------------
AN indication of the colours to pin numbers for a SIX pin connector in the interior rear view mirror. WIS does NOT have that information. It needs to be READ BACK from an ACTUAL unit
