Disel in Oil Sump

HI,
We have a 2015 MB Sprinter - A few weeks ago we changed the high-pressure fuel pump which was apparently causing the issue of diesel going into the oil sump. However, after changing it there was still diesel in the oil sump and we have tried to change everything, but it doesn't seem to work, the only option left is maybe fuel injectors... Can this be?

Has anyone had any similar experience and knows what was the cause?

Thank you in advance! :)

Wouldn't had thought a fuel pump would cause over fuelling , doesnt any excess just return to the tank?

Yes Worn sticky injectors maybe

Its not over fueling! the pump leaks internally into the engine from worn seals

If the pump is OK then yes it can only be injectors i would have thought, is it running rough or sounds ok? thinking if running rough then you could have a injector with a very bad nozzle and instead of a proper spray pattern mist your getting a load of diesel passing one or more injectors before you get bore wash and damage the piston rings and cylinder bore whip the injectors out and get them checked, cheers Dave
