It was obvious from the outset that this thread would provoke some emotional outbursts.

I still maintain that the forum is a lot more friendly than it was when I first joined, most of the old grunters have left and the new guys seem much less conservative and those who don't like the environment soon leave.

The balance is much improved and seems to be getting better with more new members.
