Door mirror adjustment

Hi. I have noticed that my nearside electric door mirror does not adjust inwards as far as I would like it to. Is this normal? I am just over 6 foot tall, so sit a fair way back. So if I were shorter, or if the wife was ever given permission to drive the car, it would be worse. Anything that can be adjusted?

I think you may be able to push the mirror edge nearest the window downwards/inwards.
