The door seals, and windscreen post seals on my SL are starting to show their age.

I have found a company that supplies these seals, and comes highly recommended by classic car magazine.

Has anyone had the experience of fitting these, as Im intending fitting them myself, Im sure it cannot be to difficult, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Wobbly

I presume you're using Forest Fine?

The door seals weren't too hard - I've not done a windscreen seal. Just make sure the channel is clean (and preferably rust free!) - use some washing-up liquid on the seal and slide it through the channel - there shouldn't be any need to glue it in place.

The seals I bought (about 3 years ago) were reproduction - the tonneau cover seal was a complete pain to fit as it wasn't an exact match (and some of the metal had rusted away).

Yes Stats its Forest Fine.
Thank for the advice. Im going to order the seals, and have a chat with them about the fitting. As I said before, Im sure it cant be to difficult.
