Playing with icarsoft and thought I’d check the DPF out of curiosity cars an E250 CDI with 80,380 miles on it.

It’s saying 90% now the cars done 7k miles since I bought it and never missed a beat and I only use the car at weekend as it’s parked up all week at work which is a 50mile motorway journey each way.

Has anyone used these DPF cleaning companies and is it worth thinking about or should I just wait and monitor it?

Just plugged in again and the fill level is at 93% after a short drive am I interpreting what the fill level means wrong? Is that the level before it does a regen? Also plugged into the A class and thats totally different and also shows distance since last regen which I don't get the option of on mine.

The A class is on 15.44g ash 3.71g Soot & 46% fill level.

No, you should not be concerned with the fill level. This corrects every 300 miles or less without you knowing it.

Leave the icarsoft on as you drive and you will see that it corrects itself and also reduces the soot.
Have a look at some of my posts on this (bit lazy today :(

How did you get so that particular menu on the icarsoft please?

select your model petrol or diesel etc, select manual scan, select "ecm engine control module"; down to "read data stream"select.
scroll to and select "check diesel particulate filter"
You might as well as have a look at everything here so select all with F1 and start with F2. Scroll to what you wish to see
Ignition must be on

Sorry to bring this topic back up, but I hav similar figures on my icarsoft, why does it say the fill level is high yet the soot level is only 2g? My soot level was 2g and had dropped to 1g, however over a 40mile drove the fill levely went for 30 upto 45%? Thanks guys
