c180 estate elegance
hi everyone,i have a 52 plate ,2003 c180 elegance estate 2 litre auto.a while ago the eml came on,checked the codes and it showed no 2 oxygen sensor, after reading about the oil in loom problem,i got underneath and sure enough oil in the loom and on connections, how the hell does it travel that far ?my questions are ,does in knacker the sensor once this happens?or once all clean will it be okay.i have read it can reach the ecu, where is it?as far as I can see the oil is at sensor connection and the junction where it goes off to the fuse box,but nothing going anywhere else!.and last what do I need to change to stop this problem,,the car has done just over 100 k,,,,many thanks in advance for your help

Yes the Ecu will have oil in it, no major deal, buy a new cam magnet and oil loom blocker from Mercedes a lambda sensor from a bosch supplier and clean the Ecu out with contact cleaner.

thanks for the reply, can you tell me where the ecu is? thanks
