drive belt idler

hi got problem... drive belt idler goes mad vibrating.. have changed engine gearbox mounts.. but strange thing is when i pour drop engine oil on belt it all goes quiet and runs normal.. and ideas of problem please thanks

and yes i know i shouldnt put oil on drive belt

There is a damper for the tensioner. This may be the cause.

thx blackc55 i have changed that with a genuine merc one .. any other idea please? cant understand y oil on belt makes it go normall
