driver window rattles when half way down

my ml`s driver window rattles when i am driving i have given it top MB and cliamed they solved the problem bu when i got the car back a few months ago i noticed the window problem was not solved and to be honest i really never got much time to go back and complin about the service, but i am now think og going back and sorting this probme out becasue the noise is not so loud but annoying so i have to keep the window only fully open or a few inchs but not halfway. any ides can i repair this myself as a frien said you have to tighting some screw.......

Remove the door trim panel and have a look and see if you can see what is causing it.

There are a few cables in the door and it's possible one is tapping against the glass while it's retracted.

Had exactly the same problem and it was fixed by Hughes of Beaconsfield under warranty on second attempt and fantastic job they did.

They had a senior Technician go out on a test drive with me and noted down the names of the roads where the problem occurred and afterwards removed the card and drove the car on those same roads again to see the problem. They re-drilled and re-riveted all the screws/rivets in the metal plates and applied masking tape on to the metal components so that should the metal make contact with other metal then it would not make any sound and problem sorted. They did not even damage or mark the door car in the removal process or any of it’s components.
