Duchatelet 190E 2.6

I think the interior is beautiful.

Carpet colour is a bit odd to go with the cream though but the piping sort of balances it out.

Im not into that steering wheel and i think i would have to find some Cosworth wheels for it to. Its not normally my thing but i like the cream and red combo.

That interior was fantastically expensive to order & is very, very rare.

It's got a standard 16v body kit, not the Carat Duchatelet version.

Should anyone buy it & wish to convert it to the full CD look I have a complete 190E Carat Duchatelet bodykit.:cool::cool::cool:

Interior is stunning. Really nicely done.

I like the interior too .. a good clean and it will look new :)

Are the front seats out of a two door car else why do they have the little handles to lift them up ?
I like colour and the style think they look great.

hmmm one plan could be
1. Buy car
2. Buy a second 3.0 or 3.2 L MB which has good engine but lots of tin worm
3. transplant 3.0 / 3.2 L into 2.6
4. Fit Carat bodykit
5. Have unique running very quick car

I was just thinking oooo low mileage transplant engine and box too.
3.2 no good as totally different ignition/fuelling but either 3 litre m103 sohc, or my personal choice would be a 300 - 24v from a 124 or a 129. Very do-able I believe, and with 231 bhp.....

Now that would be a special car .....

I thought we were meant to keep you from buying things on Ebay Jon ? ;)

That's an ad really, not an auction. With his phone # posted he'll be doing a deal off ebay.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with an engine transplant until the car requires one. Putting in a 3.0 M103 is a lot of work for a hypothetical extra 20 hp. Probably get that much more out of it's existing engine by giving it a proper big service.

Anyone here bidding? It ends in a few hours.

I was highly tempted but I really don't need nor can I afford nor do I have space for another car.

But I did ask the seller a load of questions to get the reply that the seller was a grandmother now opting for a red Yaris and answering zero questions. Maybe he/she really didn't know anything but for me it was just the last straw and excuse I needed to back out.

Good thing too I think but it did have a fantastic looking interior.
