DVLA check

I have just used the numberplate check feature on DVLAs site, and it claims that a car im intrested in is unlicensed. I have emailed the seller to confirm this.

How likely is this to be true? I used to use the RAC site until it told me I was driving a Mazda.

Worth checking - all categories of insurance write off will appear as unlicenced.

AFAIK the DVLA site allows you to look at the data from the previous day's back up of their main database.

You could always cross check against your "Mazda" facelift
