Dyno Run W204 C350

Quoted spec for the SLK is 305bhp @ 6,500rpm and 360Nm (265ft.lb) @ 4,900rpm.

Which engine is that in the SLK? The M276 in my 2012 C350 is quoted as 306bhp @ 6,500rpm and 370Nm @ 3,500-5,250rpm. It would certainly be interesting to see how it compares to Greg's on the Dyno.

Well you should have 38bhp more, but your torque is a 115 Torques higher!! Dyno day :)

I love the M276 in my C Coupe. It's a master piece, 306hp & 370nm torque and can still achieve 50mpg on the run...

What fuel do you guys use on your 350?

I'm up for a dyno day to compare.

The best I've ever achieved is 38mpg, my long term trip computer says 26.8mpg which I'm not that unhappy with as the same figure in my C180k was 28mpg.

The best I tend to get is 39mpg (indicated) on mainly motorway runs of over 50 miles. I did once also achieve that on a 90 mile trip to Tower Bridge that also included lots of stop-start London roads, but also a few miles of roadworks on the M11 at 50mph, so not too shabby. I'm not one for cruising around gently to get good figures (had a lovely blast today in Sport mode that took the morning's consumption down to 20.3mpg!) so my overall average from new of 31.7mpg is more than satisfactory.
