Are pagid on the same level as mb original discs? They look the same - only asking as I'm due a change soon.

In my opinion these bits should of been same colour as wheels, look forward to seeing the calipers though!

Some say they are and some say not. Some report there brakes squeal with pagit but I think it's from the brake dust. They seem very good quality and well made. Iam a mechanical engineer so I've checked them for runout etc and there spot on. I went with yellow to make them stand out and the calipers will have black Mercedes Benz decals. My car is black and I'll be getting my wheels refurbished shadow chrome so think yellow will work! Watch this space.

I was informed by my local Indy that pagid are a supplier to MB.

Well on the boxes it say pagit is registered trademark for tmd friction so who knows. Also say oe supplier. A mate of mine has a vw and like my e class the front calipers are made by brembo, he's seen some front pads from brembo for his and they have pagit stamped on them and brembo sticker over it so seems tmd make for others too. The pagit pads I have look quality also but I do know they are known for excessive dust .

Pagid discs are fine, but I'd recommend oem pads. Plenty of instances of brake squeal with pagid pads. To avoid excessive dust I'd recommend EBC Red stuff pads.

how much is it?

Good choice of colour (but i would say that) lol, Textar Are Oem friction wise, not sure on the Disc's.

TMD friction Distribute Pagid, Mintex and Textar and also Eurocar parts cheaper pad brand Eicher. (wasn't always the case)

Ha ha yeah I thought you'd like the colour as I've not seen yours ;-) must admit it gave me inspiration.

Where are you getting ebc pads from? Looked at the ebc shop and there £80 just for fronts! Got front and rear pagit discs and pads and sensors and fitting kit for £202.

Yep, forgot to mention they aren't cheap:D EBC shop is same place I looked.
Depends how much excessive brake dust annoys you I guess.

Iam forever cleaning it anyway as it's black so dust not a great problem but squeal is! Will see how it goes.

i got Bosch Brake Discs, and Textar pads so far no noise and v smooth brake

I'm a little OCD here, but are the drilled holes in the same pattern as original? :)

Anything reducing brake dust is good, but I think the red stuff may be a little bit of an overkill with the need for them to warm up properly. Heard a lot of good stuff about Ferodo & Tarox

Does anyone know why TMD use so many brands? I've never noticed much variation in price across them so would be interested to know if there was any difference in compounds.

As for Pagid, their discs are fine but their pads squeal like a piggie.

I thought tmd were the manufacturer and then put brands on there product.

Perfect, guessing my choice of discs is sorted then - unless MB ones are priced the same.

Oh no. Mercedes wanted over £350 for front discs and pads and rear discs and pads! That's without sensors and fitting kit. Ecp £202 all in.
