E Class buying advice

Filled my e320 cdi I6 last sunday full to brim with diesel
Used it all week to communicate to work and back home plus any other local short trips
All together did 70 miles just pure town driving. Today did filled tank to brim again 5 days after and was surprised as only filled with 8.87 liters of diesel total cost £12.94 (shell nitro+ fuel)

Hi Mr Bakili..
That's 36mpg
Not bad at all for town driving..
I would be very surprised if you couldn't get 45+mpg on a decent run

Yes Simon,
I can easily achieve 45+ mpg on long run
Best car I ever had (18 cars in 10 years)

I've got a late pre-facelift E500 (petrol). It's now on 120k and apart from a little wear on the driver's seat bolster the interior comes up like new when cleaned. Externally it looks very fresh. It's fully loaded and virtually everything still works with the exception of an intermittent problem with the wiring loom in one of the folding mirrors (common problem). I could probably do with some new rear dampers in the medium term but that's me being a bit fussy, tbh.

If I were to replace it I'd be very tempted by a facelift 320 V6 Sport. I'm a sucker for those wheels.
