Having had the car recently detailed, it's been for an MOT and passed with no advisories, it is now telling me it's due an E service in circa 300 miles. Can anyone tell me what this entails as I thought there was only A and B services??
It's probably an indication of 'additional' work required, ie plugs, fuel filter or similar. Possibly listed in the handbook/service book.
Service requirements/descriptions changed over the years, the attached link might help. There was a period when they were on variable servicing, now it has gone back to miles/time, whichever arrives first.

I must admit I find it bit of a nonsense the way a certain service is stipulated, and then there are 'additional jobs' at extra charge, all of which are, in my mind, basic service requirements and should be included. Of course, the advertised service price would them look a little higher
