Hello guys got a issue with the w210, as soon as the battery is connected the fan starts to run, when the key is in the ignition, it slows down but keep running, sometimes with the key in ignition it goes off, I haven't directs the fan it just started to play up recently, the car has been stood for a while, when I first started it it was ok the temp went to 80 and stood there, but then the fan came on, I thought it would go off but it doesn't, just keeps running now soon as the battery lead is connected, is there anything I can look at that would be the issue, also is there a way that the fan can only run when it started or on the ignition, just to get me out I trouble as even if the key is out the ignition the run is on full speed which ain't ideal as I have to disconnect the battery each time I stop the car, all help appreciated thanks

Check all fuses, ECU voltage cut cause that. Then it may be fan control unit fault too, or faulty temp sensor. Need diagnostic...

Il have a look at fuses it a bit odd as it just started , seems to just turn on with just the battery connected
