Well I loved my first Mercedes so much that after just a year I decided to sell my CLS and take the plunge for a brand new e250 cdi AMG.

So it was promptly ordered from the brochure and not driven  Never done this before

Well I got her two days ago and I can say I love it :D

Cheers, really enjoying her...... no regrets about not driving before buying.

Spec is pretty much standard for the AMG ones. Got the linguatronic, which is awfully good at your voice recognition. Park assist, will need to find somewhere safe to test this, not sure if I trust computers parking my car! Bit of a gimmick in my opinion though.

Not sure about the eco start/stop..... never seem to get use to it in any of the cars that I have driven.

The suspension is lovely, had read in a few reviews that the suspension with this model was a bit too firm compared to that found in the SE model but it is lovely and she really holds the road nicely.

The interior finish lovely and the seats are so comfortable.

Still "running" her in so haven't pushed her yet but she feels fairly responsive and I don't think she is going to be much slower than the 320 CLS was. A lot seem to believe you don't need to run modern engines in now a days but I guess I'm old fashioned .
