e270 cdi exhaust tips

hi all i have just got my new E270 cdi avantgarde well chuffed i have also bought some exhaust tips as here

but they dont seem to fit, they came with no instructions and i know others have simliar tips, the tips dont seem to fit over the existing exhaust, is the 320 exhaust smaller than the diesel?

ideas greatly received, and sorry if this seems a silly question

The photo looks like its taken from the Schatz website. These are the tips I have and I know they do different versions for the E270CDi, E320CDi, E320 Petrol etc.

Mine did come with instructions, at first I didn't think they did fit they I realised they have to twist on at the correct angle as the exhaust itself is not round.

chrome tips for w211 E320 CDI

Dear Richard,

just a quick question...
i have just bought GAP chrome tips from MP design in germany.. they are a pair of double pipes fpr either side..
they just do not seem to sit horizontally...the inner pipe is at a slight angle
also they vibrate on the bumper

any advice? am i not fitting them correctly?

any thoughts would be appreciated ....

Mine did take a bit of adjusting to get them to sit straight, at first they were at an angle but a bit of twisting did get them straight. No problems with them hitting the bumber either, they sit a good 1 cm below. Sorry I can't think of anything else to suggest!

Do you have a web link for the tips you ordered? Just wondered what they look like.
