e270 cdi service cost

Hi guys, the time has come again to get the E class serviced, its a 2004 (54 plate) E270 CDI Avantgarde and the ASSYST says I need a service C... What am I looking at paying for this, and what work is envolved...

I don't think it's possible even for the dealer to say accurately on E Class until they get the car in and hook it up. Some things are mileage dependant and some are time.

Apart from the basic oil change and check over (which would apply to any service and cost around £250 for a minor service and £450 for a major) it'll also need brake fluid change at 2 yrs.

If it needs additional work like pads/discs then they'd obviously be extra.

well im looking for the basic C service so that I can get the stamp in the book, all the extra work will be done by a independant specialist, doesnt 'C' tell me what serivce it is, so that the price would be dependant to that?

nope, no such thing as a basic c service. car tells the dealer what to do

thus why i no longer own a W211

Try ringing a few dealers, tell 'em you want the bare minumun doing so as to maintain the warranty etc and see what they say.
