e300 low boost, maf swapped

Just wondered if anyone could help with my problem, since i brought my 1997 e300td last year ive had the maf unplugged because once it got warm and i tryed kick down, it didnt kick down, just stayed at the same speed and revved high.

Unplugging the maf stopped this but the other day i installed a boost guage and its reading only half of what im told it should be, tonight i took the internals of the maf out my brothers seat leon diesel and put it into my maf body, kick down works properly but still only 7psi boost, i put a new air filter in too

Any ideas please?

Check the EGR isn't jammed partially open, check all the air pipes are connected and not leaking, check the accelerator pot is being pulled fully by the pedal, after that it's either the wastegate sticking slightly open or the MAP sensor reading low.

Measure the MAF voltage using Pin-5 WRT Gnd. It should be ~4.8v at full revs and boost.
