I'm planning to do an auto transmission oil change, so i've ordered gasket, filter, and a washer for the convertor plug, but MB tell me that i have to use there "special oil" but the autodata book says it's Dexron II can any one clear this up for me, thanks

I think Autodata have got it wrong, I always use the correct MB oil, its not over expensive and much cheaper than a rebuilt box

Found your posts and I am just about to replace the auto box sump gasket on my E320. I see there is reference to a dip stick. I will buy one of these - but where does it go and where do you fill it?
