E320 Coupe, and has had a full E36 conversion

Has Akash lost the love for the old Mercs? ;) Or tough on finances?

Thats mine, I sold the blue one last night. I need to either sell this or the SL, as Ive been using my parents house as a car park the past few years. With them moving abroad, I need to downsize the collection.

The conversion was done by Olly, at PCS.

nice one akash

Sell the SL, this W124 is lovely :D

Ohh what a beautiful Mercedes mate, what a shame your selling:o

I havn't seen a better W124 in that condition, looks in better condition than some modern cars! Well done,

I've got a feeling this is going to sell cheap, if that's the case id rather a forum member had it. An hour to go...

akash, top bidder at the moment has a really low feedback rating....

Suprised you didnt stipulate any auction rules where a bidder needs to have a minimum amount of feedback or a deposit to be paid at the fall of the hammer or something similar....

This usually helps deter the time wasters and dreamers (not all of them mind!), Good luck anyway.....

I remember last time it was £5.8k, but it didn't meet the reserve? Wasn't a bad price to be honest...You could've lowered the reserve back then. Although, you never know how much it will go for tonight

Someone got a bargain there

I'm surprised that p**p didn't bid more this time round - they bid £6,200 last time and only £5,377 this time.

Looked like a lovely car!

Blooming heck - they stole it from you Simal. I wish I'd placed a bid!!

Well it's much less than I thought it would go for, it got to £6200 last time. Not sure if the winning bidder is genuine, 3 feedback. Finger crossed, although I'm not sure if I should cross them for the guy being genuine or not!

its annoying as the price of that and all half decent w124 coupes will go up in a year or so but people are skint and money is tight

like my one on here i had agreed £2,750 including the plate with a bloke via piston heads (even though im loosing almost a grand)

i got 5 friends to help me (as sitting down i cant do any myself) and i explained that if he is definitely coming id get it all done

jay - jump start it and give it a quick run
phil - overnight charge the spare battery
chaz - wash, hoover & clean it
colin - goto garage and fill the green petrol thing as orange light was on car
rich - be here to use his traders plates to take him for a test drive

he text me and said his friend who was going to come with him could not find his traders plates and that was the last i heard

so £50 on petrol, cleaning & rich waited here for 4 hours for him not even to bother texting that he cant make it

my point is i hope you dont get some moron who is going to waste your time

anyone on here would not even have to see the car as if its your then its perfect

shame ive got 2 or id have it

Well looks like I might have a messer on my hands too. 3 feedback, no contact before or after the auction. I'll leave it till this afternoon then request their details off eBay and I'll give them a call.

Why bid if your not going to buy?
