E350 Cdi remap recommendations please

Hi all

Looking to get my E350 coupe remaped. Has anyone remaped this model and how's does it feel remapped. Any major difference on power and mpg?

Any recommendations?

MKB Tuning but they are based in Germany.

I am going down to them next month to get them to remap the CLS and out of all the tuners they offer more power over a wider performance range. However, they are not cheap but you get what you pay for!

After I had mine re-mapped the back end could not handle the power, plant your foot and it was all over the place, especially noticable when flooring it from 5mph to 15mph or so.

it will be interesting to see how the CLS behaves after the MKB tuning.

Peak torque will increase from the stock 620NM (at 1600 - 2400 rpm) 195 KW (265 HP) to 700nm (at 1600 - 2900rpm) 225 kW (306 HP) at 4100 rpm which I think should be fine as other reputable Merc tuners i.e. Brabus D6S kit only increases the torque to 690NM and Carlsson 700NM but they only offer this at the stock 1600-2400 rpm range. 0-60mph is reduced to 5.3 sec.
